Blackberry Z10 | Smartphone Review

My thoughts:

My first ever blackberry smartphone I got this phone as an upgrade for free with a two year plan at Verizon (although it's not really free since I paid $35 for an upgrade fee still a good deal). One year and six months later this is what I got to say...What I don't like about this phone besides the limited applications and thank God now it has instagram but they call it iGrann in bb world anyway another thing I don't like is the start up so whenever I have to restart or let's say I ran out of battery when I charge it back up it takes quite some time to load that's it.

If blackberry applications is the same with the ios/android I truly think this would be my ultimate and favorite perfect phone of all time why? due to its specifications I love it!

Battery: Removable Li-Ion 1800 mAh (I don't really like non-removable batteries I feel like and I know it would fail over time then bye bye phone I can't really pass it on that's why I always opted for removable batteries with everything really.) With heavy usage this phone could last me half a day but with minimal use once in a while check if I have any notifications etc it can last me one or two days without charging which is good.

It also has a micro sim slot.. they say you can use any blackberry abroad I haven't tested that yet but surely looking forward to it.

I love the hub so easy for me to check and see what's new if I have any notifications and such. It's also very light and sits very nicely in the palm of my hands very comfortable and sleek. I like the rubber like finish at the back so it doesn't slip my fingers.

Oh let's talk about some of the apps.. The compass app. in the home screen truly works and you can have as many windows/home screens as you like.

The Maps also good I would rank it on second place first being the google map of course haha!
for the blackberry maps it took me a while and a little tinkering also looking at my manuals and tutorials online how to set up the voice activated maps turn by turn. Its so worth it!

When you put something in the folders you can see the content icons in that specific folder even by just looking at your homescreen.

The games are also good I downloaded Iron man very action pack and interactive, Minion rush, Temple Run and more!

Overall, 4 out of 5 stars despite the lack of apps. I love this phone so much.The pros outweighs the cons  If you want your own little world I recommend this phone.

Nyx Love in Rio: SEGREDOS DE GISELLE (LIR06) eyeshadow palette | Makeup Review

My thoughts:

I bought this one at Ultra for $5.99 last September 2014. So that's almost like $1.99 a piece.Very affordable product and what I like about this company is that they are cruelty free so that's good.

Most of the people I know of don't really use this small applicator brush that comes along with the kit but I think its actually good I thought it would be made out of those cheap looking like removable plastic stuff but this one got really good material like a very sturdy foam great for smudging and wet application

it may not look much when I swipe it with my fingers mayhaps due to lighting and how I swiped it haha it actually has good pigmentation although they don't last very long.

This set is quite shimmery but not too overpowering just the right amount to give your eyes an added pop of color so on the left side is a pinky tone good for brow bone highlight the middle color got a more beige like champagne color and the last one is a bronze shimmer. The glitter for added shimmer is not really that lumpy or like in big chunks it's just the right amount of small specks of shimmer which is very nice whether you apply it wet or dry.

I prefer to apply this eyeshadows wet because sometimes it tends to flake on me and you can see visible creasing over time in my lids but with wet application it's alright and I think it last quite long with wet application I dunno maybe that's just me.

I personally love these shades which kinda reminds of the Kevyn Aucoin palette #1 which my mom gave me as a gift but of course Nyx has a lot more shimmer and not as fine and silky as Kevyn's.

I'm really glad I bought this Nyx Love in Rio eyeshadow palette not only did it fit my budget it also has 1 gram of product in it. Sometimes I use this to play around like how to contour my face which actually looks fine the shimmer doesn't bother me that much as it give me a good glow.

I also like how it looks very natural looking whenever I apply it .It can pass as a no makeup makeup look actually haha and you can never go wrong with these three shades you can mix and match them or simply wear just one color it's very nice and flattering. Because of those reasons I gave this Nyx Love in Rio [SEGREDOS DE GISELLE (LIR06)] 4.5 stars out of 5. Good deal and Great kit especially for beginners or those of you like me who only like to apply eyeshadow once in a while and practice or whatever.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick: Pink Velvet (423) & Blushing Mauve (460) | Makeup Review

Natural lip color, dry lips

With 423 Pink Velvet

For me this color is much brighter and pinky than the mauve. Nice color almost seems natural. whenever I wear this I know I have lipstick on this lights up my face.

With 460 Blushing Mauve

As you can see this picture has two different lighting on the left was the lights indoors while on the right was from the natural light outside. This is much closer to my lip color and makes my lips look better. It can pass up as a no lipstick/makeup look.

It cost about almost $5 in Walmart with a couple of cents rollback from time to time. At Ulta it's about  $7.99 but when you get it on sale it's (buy 1 get 1 50% off )

Both colors leaning more on the pink and natural side whenever I apply it on my lips. Very nice,creamy texture and hydrating formula. It doesn't crack my lips even with longterm use. They both have a little bit of shine. The lasting power for me is about 4 hours which is alright and really good for drugstore product and affordable too!.These made me fall in love with Revlon lipsticks. I gave it 5 out of 5 stars.I highly recommend it!

Kevyn Aucoin The Essential Eye Shadow Set Palette #1 | Makeup Review

My thoughts:

My mom gave me this set as a gift long time ago and I love it! basic,silky smooth, highly pigmented and very fine product!

the first three left to right are the shadows below 

while the last two on the right are the ones on top 

5 is pearly white  very shimmery great for brow bone highlight

4  is almost like reddish brown, deep kind of brown, slight shimmer 

3 peach color, slight shimmer 

2  black, very shimmery on the palette but the shimmer doesn't really transfer on application mayhaps only slight but as you can see on the swatch it doesn't really translate to that

1 brown, slight shimmer, compare to 4 this one a bit lighter than that like mud brown.

The only thing I don't really like with this set are these two brushes supposedly applicators it's seems cheap and the materials not really good as you can see I haven't even used the one in plastic I don't really intend to use it but kept it anyway haha

it easily breaks down over time I think I only used this once or so

since it started breaking down I took it off and disposed the other end

Overall I love the eyeshadows in this set, anyone can wear it although it's a bit on the expensive side but if you want to splurge on eyeshadows or would use it everyday go ahead.It's a great gift too. I usually reserve this one on special occasions. I gave these eyeshadows 5 out of 5 stars as for the  brush well 0 haha ok 1 for effort xD

Hannibal Season 2 + some spoilers | Tv Series Review

My thoughts:

I advise to truly watch this show in moderation it's so insane!

WTH! OMG THIS SHOW! UGH! so frustrating! kept me on the loop and on the edge of my seat like are they gonna get him now? how about now? like how? who will die next? will he die next? will Will die next? how about Jack? that season 2 beginning though...

SPOILER ALERT!


OMG! Will NOOOOOO!!!!!! I can't believe Dr Lecter did that to him.

the way Dr Lecter flawlessly manipulated everything was brilliant and scary! this show gives me the creeps

Freddie Lounds death seems truly forced like her character development was nowhere in site and she's not in as much episode unlike in season 1 so I guess that's why they decided to kill her character off but no that's a really good cover though they almost got me there and I'm glad they did it before hannibal did haha I thought her face changed?was it the lighting?make up or what? I think her hair sometimes..extra fluffy anyway,

Dr. Bloom's  relationship with Dr, Lecter also seems forced like seriously Alana seriously? just like what Will said " you said I'm not good for you but he's good enough for you?"(something like that) OMG! ridiculous! I thought it was all part of a brilliant plan they constructed just to get Hannibal admit to his crimes ugh so frustrating! but no Alana seems in love but their chemistry was a bit off putting for me unlike with Will.  I hope something works out for season 3

AND THAT DRUTTED ENDING! OMG! SERIOUSLY?! Alana dialed her phone called for help first after a couple of minutes almost dying later Will was there dialed his phone called for help then try to cover up some of Alana's body to keep  her warm as she lay there by the front door. Most of them bleeding to death a couple more minute later still no cops! no ambulance whatsoever and it's raining and it's just OMG SO MANY FEELS! 

Overall 5 out of 5 stars due to its madness! plus I don't want Dr. Hannibal Lecter come out and get me haha! just kidding ^_~

Storyline:
A prequel set before the haunting of the Lambert family that reveals how gifted psychic Elise Rainier reluctantly agrees to use her ability to contact the dead in order to help a teenage girl who has been targeted by a dangerous supernatural entity.

My thoughts:

At first I'm scared watching it all alone just the like the previous films I watched it solo haha

afterwards I'm more of surprised really this prequel is not as good as the other ones but it's a nice thing to get to know how all the crew got together. I like how spooked I was with the classic BOOM! in your face scare tactic haha! I screamed by the window scene and at the very end that was fun ;))

The dad was trying to get it together but he seems so messed up the kids well will always be kids. The youngest is almost always acting up drutted kid but he somewhat redeemed himself telling his dad how to solve the problem,acting all brave and all near the end although he's not always present in the movie. The girl's a typical teenager she needs some guidance and decided to contact her dead mother like why? seriously why? like why not just pray? ugh or like think of her being in a better place stay strong and act like what oldest sister do oh girl you're in so much trouble! I think the lack of her dad's presence in her life affects her so much #teenageproblems then again just like J.K Rowling once said there's an expiration date in blaming your parents moving on ( I know it's just a film haha!) I always thought it's bad to break the circle like when you hold hands and stuff for contact or whatever but this film proved me wrong (or is it? especially in real life) OMG!

Some of things that's good to be reminded of:

Never contact anything from the other side- once you made that connection something almost always comes along with it that's not really what you're expecting (mostly bad stuff)

The further is a scary place good thing there's a lamp in there and not a candle OMG imagine that!

Ghost business is nothing like show business it's hella scary most of the time

Face your fears!

Don't talk to strangers!

Make sure you almost always have somebody with you especially when sick.

Make sure your neighbor crush is home before you start knocking at their wall haha!

When alone and someone attack you grab anything hit them with all you got! self defense 101 kick their ass! 

and so much more! etc.

Overall this movie 2.5 out of 5 stars it's alright so-so if you wanna instantaneously spook yourself go ahead! I like this series and I think this is also Leigh Whannell directorial debut Congrats!

Storyline

My thoughts:

Jurassic Park (1993) will always have a very special place in my heart  what I love about this Jurassic World (2015) version besides the fact that it's much more technologically advance Owen (Chris Pratt) made a connection between man and beast. I love how Owen bridge that gap how much he cared for his raptors, relate and relay to others how these animal feels, the way he trained he trained them with love and care.Also how he took control of different scary and risky situations in order to save someone who needs help.He's so kick ass!

I like how interactive this park is you can do so many things,ride amazing rides,you can canoe,ride a train/truck or this hamster ball thing.

I'm really amazed by this one...totally made a big splash! amazing!

I still can't believe Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) ran in those heels OMG! seriously? all throughout the entire film that's just bonkers! the kids did alright they're acting's accurate how kids are these days they showed different kinds of emotions and did some crazy things.

SPOILER ALERT!

I think they're family will hold up just fine after this park experience.

So Claire and Owen? I think they're a great couple after what happened I think they'd be inseperable haha! 

I like how the park managed to hold up after what happened a lot of people managed to take cover in that volcano like city center which I find a bit weird I think that's the only untouched building? I dunno but of course there are still a lot of carnage.

Oh and that near the end moment when Claire unleashed a new raptor? which was a bit calmer than that psychopathic raptor one that was so cool! insta solution! well I'm just glad they got that one on reserve or else yikes! and that very last epic raptor battle whoa! that was amazing!

I think they did a very good job on this one! very modern and the dinosaurs looks a lot more natural looking, the graphics and cinematography's nice. Overall I'd rate it 4 out of 5 stars! I still think the 1993 version's a lot more scarier than this one haha! still a very family kid friendly film. ^_^v
