Quick Synopsis: (Source: Goodreads)
On a warm summer morning in North Carthage, Missouri, it is Nick and Amy Dunne's fifth wedding anniversary. Presents are being wrapped and reservations are being made when Nick's clever and beautiful wife disappears from their rented McMansion on the Mississippi River. Husband-of-the-Year Nick isn't doing himself any favors with cringe-worthy daydreams about the slope and shape of his wife's head, but passages from Amy's diary reveal the alpha-girl perfectionist could have put anyone dangerously on edge. Under mounting pressure from the police and the media--as well as Amy's fiercely doting parents--the town golden boy parades an endless series of lies, deceits, and inappropriate behavior. Nick is oddly evasive, and he's definitely bitter--but is he really a killer? (more)

My thoughts:

3.5  out of 5 stars!

At long last! I finally got around into it OMG this story! I find Amy disturbing actually she's an intelligent psycho bitch! I kinda feel sorry for Nick but his actions are well not good either. Their marriage became toxic and it got into them and they let it get into themselves.I guess this stuff truly happens when you stop trying, lack of communication, death of a loved one, someone sick in the family, stress etc. it adds up! your body, mind and spirit will take the toll. What I liked about this story is how it proves it's not always the husband who is the culprit. I hope the next 2 books would deliver some sense of justice. They all need a psyche consult asap!

I like Jonathan's voice his pronunciation definitely brought the characters to life!

:OMG THIS BOOK! so many unexpected twists and turns! I got quite confused at first because I never thought there would be so many characters and chain of events/involvements put together that even happened way back in the day of the story we're all witnessing it's so good! W:OW! I'm amazed how well put together this novel was and the characters wh:oa! some of them they got me going there they made me think maybe this guy is the culprit or maybe that guy over there but it's all under my nose this entire time and Oh dear Fermin you funny guy!(especially at Chapter 16)I like how he compare guys as light bulbs and girls as iron when they heat up. I somewhat like the ending such a rush it all went by so fast! to think how much time lapse.

here's some of my favorite quotes:

"There's no such thing as dead languages only dormant minds"

"To truly hate is an art one learned with time"-Daniel

"We exist as long as somebody remembers us"~Jullian Carax

"only 3 or 4 things are worth living for the rest is manure!"-Fermin

"saint holy shit and holy cow"-Fermin(chap25)

"destiny is usually just around the corner like a thief, hooker or lottery vendor is 3 most common personifications but what destiny does not do is home visits you have to go for it!"-Fermin

A Feast for Crows (A Song of Ice and Fire #4) by George R.R. Martin

Category: Adult,Fantasy,Science Fiction
Format:Audiobook
Page Count: 1060
Language: English
Published: November 8th 2005 by Random House Audio
ISBN:0739308742 (ISBN13: 9780739308745)
About the book:(from Goodreads)
It seems too good to be true. After centuries of bitter strife and fatal treachery, the seven powers dividing the land have decimated one another into an uneasy truce. Or so it appears. . . . With the death of the monstrous King Joffrey, Cersei is ruling as regent in King’s Landing. Robb Stark’s demise has broken the back of the Northern rebels, and his siblings are scattered throughout the kingdom like seeds on barren soil. Few legitimate claims to the once desperately sought Iron Throne still exist—or they are held in hands too weak or too distant to wield them effectively. The war, which raged out of control for so long, has burned itself out.(more)

My Review: 4 out of 5 stars

"He's so Tyrell he pisses rose water" ~Cersei

I love John Lee's voice! so nice & beautiful such great variety!BRILLIANT!

Wh:oa the changed of POVs is a total game changer! and more new characters. Some back stories and flash backs also love stories. Some parts that's quite boring but everything's pretty much interesting!

Podrick's so funny & very much confused whether to call Brienne My Lady or Sir.Oh boy! :))))

Still lots of deaths and unexpected scenes.Revenge better served cold pwahaha!

I wished there's more arya scenes >.< I'm always looking forward to that :Oh my!.And Sansa I hope she could count herself lucky she's somewhat way better off.

Cersei definitely thinks she's like her father perhaps even better without a cock haha!

When Sir Jamie & Cersei's scenes clash it's so funny going through Jamie as Tyrions words seems to echo inside his head for screwing. Although he still thinks of such unlikelyhood.

OMG! I'm so freakin excited for book 5 what's happening on the otherside?! XD

My Review: 4 out of 5 stars

I really like roy avers voice also the shift of characters POVs I'm really surprised :0

In half a heart beat a lot of people died.SEVEN BLOODY HELLS!

Valar morghulis!

That moment when I realized Daenerys is one of the most kickass female fictional character. I wanna learn & speak valyrian! Dracarys!

Everything sounds so convincing I don't know which one/who to believe anymore. There's no safe place or when you think you are..it ends there.

Well at least Sansa got a bit of character development and Arya seems to be everywhere.Jon Snow don't know anything you bastard! Yngritte gets on my nerves saying the same old lines over and over why can't she just say it instead of saying "you don't know anything Jon Snow" ugh
Jaimie looks like a changed man I mean like holy sheeeet I can't believe they actually did that to him.I'd like to ship Brienne of Tarth & him (Jaimie) so weird I know but it might actually work. XD

Sam the slayer Gods be good!

There are a lot of things going on and moving about in this book it's absolutely wonderful! George RR Martin made killing off characters looked flawless!

My Review: 3 out of 5 stars

I tuned in all the way to the audiobook read by Roy Dotrice it was a bit weird & I still got confused with his voice the way he delivered his lines since I got used to GOT read by Roy Avers but it was ok and tolerable.

There's lots of planning, death, backstabbing, blackmagic, tricks, bits of action here & there.Darkness & well I didn't expect Freedom but it was really nice also the great escape was a great treat.

I'm so proud of myself *pats back* I never thought I could get into this book/series and a lot characters POVs. I'm completely at awe due to a lot of additional and awesome appearances of other characters in the story they definitely add a lot of flavor, characteristic, resistance and more epic details. Some of my favorite new characters in this book The Reed siblings they're so nice & embraced their God given gift & talent WOW!

and oh Renly I knew it! Rainbow knights eh? ;) I just hope he stick to the rule in ascension.

The Hound surprised me :O

So proud of the Stark house.STAY STRONG!

New Characters I love to hate Melisandre I don't know whether she's up to good or bad or completely manipulative.I just hope Stanis stands up for himself.

About the HBO TV SERIES, well there's quite a lot of variation in season 2 & 3 mix in this but it's all good although I thought that season 3 will be about book 5 but it's still early for that.I'm looking forward to all of these things.

My Review: 4.5 out of 5 stars

It took me awhile to finish this..I dropped and picked it up multiple times for there are some things that just bore me and can't visualize at times.I watched the HBO tv series that's now been going for their 3rd season which is fantastic!hooray! this truly helped me a lot they're quite faithful to the book. That's why I decided to listen to this again to clear my confusion. At first like I said I found it boring but then as I tune in for more ,listened to it patiently whenever I got freetime or if I'd like to go handsfree from reading (multi tasking) I appreciated the very essence of audiobook read by Roy Avers it was really nice...I like his voice.

I found myself rooting for some characters like Arya,Jon,Daenerys & Tyrion. This is also the first time the word Bastard enlightened me in a whole new different level (well I never thought of it that way but when I thought about it some more I guess Mr. Martin was right afterall haha I'll never think of that word the same way ever again!)

My favorite character by far is Arya I like her a lot I definitely saw some of myself in her growing up.The gender bender aspect caught me by surprise..sad & nice at the same time.My least favorite is Sansa typical princess and love blind to Joffrey I don't think it's even love in the first place since they're so young perhaps a puppy love ( or like a wolf to a lion love haha)she's nice & courteous though I sense there's something brewing inside of her like the Lannisters.I despise Joffrey the first time I encountered his character he's such a spoiled brat rotten to the core!.Cersei,is also one of the characters I love to hate with a passion and don't let me start about little finger ugh such guy.

The dire wolves OMG! I love them so so much.Very Adorable & fearsome!

The house banners & sayings/quote/oath some are creatively made that sometimes completely sum up or at least you'll get the idea how the rest of the houses are.

I never thought and I feared for Eddard's life also for his beloved family they're so nice.I understand why he has done it although I prefer otherwise & as the story progress it shocked me for such revelations, lies & deceit.OMG! The Game of thrones is definitely the perfect title for this book.

My Review: 4 out of 5 stars

(Tristran & Little Hairy Man talking about Victoria and his quest to find the falling star so this would the little man would do)"I'd tell her to go shove her face in the pig pen and go out and find another one or kiss you without asking for the earth" ~Little Hairy Man

"Love I hope you choke on it!" -Star

I love it when Neil Gaiman read his own work!with a bonus interview content wow!

Tristran's so nice and lucky!the story's quite confusing at first for there's a lot of characters and different storylines anyway,it all merged perfectly well I like the concept, lots of funny, unexpected and magical moments plus such a fine ending.

Sidenote: it's quite funny how I rated it as 4 out of 5 considering a star had fallen (no pun intended) but such rating was because I really liked it.And I'll try to check out the movie asap once I found a copy.^^,

My Review: 5 stars

I'm instantly hooked into reading the moment I laid my eyes on this I really have no idea what's the fuss is all about why this book is banned/challenged,what is crank etc. until I started reading it! and OMG! why didn't I read/discover this book before?! it's so good I can't stop reading let alone put it down it's that fantastic! I love the cover it's very simple yet it conveys the message on what the book is all about,it's fast paced, cool poem like structure format, the lines, spacing, easy on the eyes, thick but very light book!hands down to Ellen Hopkins now I know the reasons behind all of it,it's very mind opening,it taught me a lot of things because of the plot all these twist and turn about the character's life, choices (some good and bad) from that I learned to do the right thing,to say NO!,stand firm and never give in to something that I know is wrong and a whole lot more. This does not at all affect me whatsoever to do anything illegal and such this took me to a perspective, euphoria, elation, what it felt like to be in a complete high state of mind (to be honest I don't need vices such as drugs, booze, weed, cigars to get high because I'm naturally high, the good kind I know my limits and I learned a lot from my and others life experiences) anyway I can't wait to read book two in order to unravel and continue their stories. It's really up to the reader on how they view life, dilemmas, choices, picking out their books all I'm saying is that free your mind and read an banned book!
