It is 2000, and Ki Ha Myung (Nam Da Reum) is leading a happy life with his parents and older brother Jae Myung (Yoon Kyun Sang), until his father Ki Ho Sang (Jung In Ki), the captain of the firefighting squad, dies in a factory explosion during a rescue attempt along with several of his men. When Ho sang’s body is initially missing, the media sensationalizesthe case by scapegoating him. In a battle for ratings, cold and calculating MSC reporter Song Cha Ok (Jin Kyung) alleges that Ho Sang survived the blast, and is currently in hiding because he was responsible for the deaths of his men. This causes the Ki family to become outcasts in their neighborhood and objects of national scorn. Ha Myung’s mother attempts to kill herself and her younger son by jumping off a cliff, and Jae Myung blames their deaths on the media, particularly Cha Ok.(more)

One of the main reasons I watched this was because of Park Shin Hye (Choi In Ha) I've seen loads of her dramas before and most of the time it's pretty darn good! anyway her character here was a daughter of what people view as an obnoxious reporter (her mom) she idolized/worship her and would like to be her when she grows up but the thing is people say she can't due to her pinocchio syndrome and no her nose doesn't grow long whenever she lies haha she would hiccup and won't stop hiccuping til she spoke the truth so you can see she's somewhat in a pinch in her chosen profession. She also did a lot of headstands here whenever she's thinking seriously! so blood would flow thru her head haha *don't try that at home kids* also loads of cute moments like: (photo credits from the internet huzzah!)
I think these scenes are pretty much given in any korean drama
Now about Lee Jong Suk (Choi Dal Po) his family was a victim here he saw and experienced how cruel the world is as a kid what happened to his family is sometimes sad to say also happens in reality how reporters, old money people manipulate things to divert the medias attention for their own gain. What I like/love about this drama though was because of that it depicted that sad reality really well and we could all learn a lot from it airing the dirty laundry as they say in the industry. So here he is the young and grown up version.
|so funny and tacky! I like the awkward moments of this video shoot|
|Makeover time! not too shabby|
Actually my favorite character from this tv series is Min Sung Wook (Jang Hyun-Gyu) he's so funny without even trying!
she's second haha surprisingly so although she's so annoying at first
Lee Yoo-Bi (Yoon Yoo-Rae)
it's so funny whenever people are like HEY YOORAE! ARE YOU CRYING?! like srsly?every freakin time it never fails to make me laugh and wonder wtf? it's like their punchline
Anyway, how their path crossed and how they brought upon change to the world was pretty epic! I won't say much I'd like you to discover it for yourself! watch this series! I really hope that's how the reporters/medias are in the real world!
Final verdict 5 out of 5 stars! oh yeah! I never thought it would be this good it's worth the rave and hype,it's very refreshing, modern and the ending was cute too I tell ya so give it a shot whenever you got free time and dunno what else to watch it definitely gave me an inside look what a reporters life is like whether it's real or not.
