My Review: 4.5 out of 5 stars

The book cover is really beautiful and related to the story. It has a very good and interesting plot I like how it starts off with a little bit of mystery between all  of the characters. There's a lot of medical scenes plus very detailed terminologies I found very useful in imagining the whole story. I felt the characters emotions and struggles that  kept me moving one page to another, within the story  lies a great message to every reader such as close family ties, bonds, do the right thing etc which are extremely important. This is where Allison La Crosse finds and enjoys her path being an doctor, a love life she couldn’t even imagine, powers she’s not even aware off, learning how to control her abilities, family secrets kept in the shadows for her safety and more!I love the cast, growing romance, rivalries, and how it all unfolds I really enjoyed reading all these twists and turns a very promising book one of the warrior series  I can’t wait to read book two!

VMA

Last night was really fun I watched the VMA a couple of minutes online since I can't go watch it in the telly  my mom and dad was watching some interview but anyway and so there I was thrilled yet kinda bummed out since the online version was like crap lots of behind the scenes and the audience cam was truly such a downer, people looked so bored and not even paying attention but nevertheless it's 'ayt I just kept on waiting...and waiting...and waiting...more waiting..oh yeah waiting! ugh until finally I got my shot at the telly hooray! with twitter and telly goes hand and hand it's the ultimate VMA experience ever! lol :)) the telly version was so much better...I got it all by myself chatting with my buddies, laughtrip, rants and so on it's really great.

The Downside, well for all the hunger games fanatics the waiting time is really like torture but it's worth the wait but I think they deserve more trailer time I mean yes I know it's just a teaser trailer but who wouldn't like to see more right? :D

and so just in case you missed it/like to rape the play button to watch it endlessly over and over here it is! enjoy! ^_^

Get More: 2011 VMA, Music

isn't that just so awesome?! well of course the VMAs got lots to offer more shocking revelations like Beyonce's baby bump, Tribute to Amy Winehouse, Awkward ex-celeb. relationship presentations,Lady Gaga's alter ego lots of acting, liquor and such which I don't really like some just really killed the glamour of it all but I love all those fantastic performance from various artists,it's kinda sad yet I'm happy that Jessie J made it  hooray! I'm glad her foot's healing wonderfully..I just love her she got this very powerful killer vocals mann that's really amazing she did it like a dude,so professional, she really knows how to dazzle things up :D

I LOVE YOU JESSIE J!
AWESOME!
you could read more of the article here

what else?hmm..oh yeah that same night my twitter account's been hacked/compromised I'm really shocked maybe it happened when I opened some messages then boom! next thing I know I've been sending this funny vid. containing the exact same virus so what I did was I went to SETTINGS>ACCOUNT>CHANGE MY TIMEZONE>CHANGE PASSWORD>SAVE CHANGES yeah I included the change of timezone coz I saw it's from somewhere in quito or something like that of a place and I was like oh so that's where this madness lurks and rummaging about I was quite on a badtrip hassle mood but once it's over I'm all smiles again enjoying my re-runs,VMA replay oh yeah!

My Friend Eiramicaela shared this link with me during the event it was really disturbing as always, the concept's bit over done as usual but I like the lyrics,

and so we also discussed about lady gaga's get up,alter ego presentation,HIM worship and so on..yeah quite controversial and all those talks happened in one night lol :))

The Best of Lucy Felthouse book trailer

My Review: 5 stars

I love how Lucy Felthouse used her words  in a very sexy revolutionizing manner, she also managed to put up some things both genders could learn from like how to please your partner without leaving one out behind and that before engaging into coitus you’ll always have to keep in mind about safety first (Yes, use a condom!) it’s nice to see that she included  ways to make her beloved  readers sexual lives a healthier one I like how smartly written and well executed these five erotic short  stories are it will truly shoot and numb your senses whether you’re turned on with a man in a uniform, posh accents, daydreams etc. I know that there’s still a lot of people that are quite uncomfortable reading/discussing such topics but I believed this is a good way to start something that is usually out of the comfort zone I enjoyed it! it’s so flawlessly made I can’t wait to read more.

Language: English
Published: Published March 29th 2011 by Barany Publishing

About the book:
Award-winning author Ezra Barany unleashes his first novel,The Torah Codes in which Nathan Yirmorshy finds himself entangled in a mystery of prophecy and danger. What would you do if you discovered your name was encoded in the bible? it doesn't matter. What you will do and how you will die has also been foretold.(more)

My Review: 4 out of 5 stars

I’m a Catholic but that doesn’t stop me from reading The Torah Codes by Ezra Barany there are some parts at the beginning of the book that lost me but I eventually found my way back to digest lots of random rants, things that doesn’t make sense at first but I truly enjoyed some other side quest along the way to the truth which greatly entertained and filled me with knowledge and awareness. I’m not really good at deciphering codes, solving mysteries and such I'm often stumped/clueless it took me lots of time and great amount of effort to even decode one thing I guess most of us do..I can so relate on each and every character dilemma as I move on with the rest of the story I found out that the protagonist Nathan's a bit paranoid and bi-polar,an intelligent guy, earned some good money for a living, odd sense of humor, freakin  hilarious and Sophia who depends most of her life decisions and earnings in her favorite tarot decks which are most of the time true! shocking I know..as I read and journeyed along with them all those lies, mysteries, superstitions, card readings, revelations, spiritual calling, quest and missions of the secret society lurking about that tooks years in the making to accomplish has all enlightened me! It also made me appreciate more all kinds of religions, our diverse nature and culture. This confirms and correlates each aspect of things in life. The antagonist Luke McCourt he's really quite nice..yet creepy in a way that goes well in the cycle along with other team members I got so caught up with all his lies during his train conversation with Sophia I almost believed him.

I like the fact page at the end of the book which separates it from fiction plus the essays from very highly respected individuals on their field.I love the gadget that was made for the greater good I’d like that to exist in reality so that would solve  power shortage, world crisis, anything! I'd also like to see more of Nathan and Sophia to know up to where their brewing love would take them. All in all no matter what religion we’re in the God we all worship and glorify is in fact the same one and only God we just call him/her differently, takes form in lots of ways, there’s a little bit of God within us all we  have to do is find out.

Author Interview: Patti Roberts plus Giveaways ^_^

Welcome! and Good day Everyone! It's a pleasure and truly an honor to present to you our lovely guest for today she wrote a wonderful book titled Paradox: The Angels are here, the first book of her novel series.

Let's all Welcome the one and only Patti Roberts! (a round of applause). Orjan Nilsen - The Mule (Original Mix) music played on the background. The crowd went wild as Patti entered the studio with a dazzling smile waves her hands up in the air. Kim and Patti hugged, peck each others cheeks. The music died down as they sat comfortably on the leather black sofa situated at the center part of the studio.

Kim: Wow! What a great crowd! ^_^ Welcome Patti I'm glad you made it could you please tell us more about yourself.

Patti:I have only been writing since 2009 and wish that I had started years ago.

Kim: Right on! due to everchanging and evolving technology she also got and we're all fortunate enough to view her very magnificent book trailer let's all stand by and watch..

Kim: I got goosebumps all over lol :)) truly a marvelous book trailer Would you continue on writing this type of genre? or do you have any plans venturing on other categories?

Patti: I definitely love the paranormal realm and intend to keep writing in this genre.

Kim:Great! so how many series are they?any plans for extension? or book side stories for these series?

Patti:The Paradox series will be at least 3 books long. Perhaps longer.

Kim: Fantastic! what's the greatest challenge in writing this novel series.
Patti: Has only been time.

Kim: If you're going to be an angel who/what would you be and why?
Patti: If I were an angle I would want to be the kind that has the ability to guide people through the tough times in their lives. The times when they feel that all has been lost.

Kim: Nice..Among all the characters which one would you say you can totally relate most or the most you?
Patti: Hmmm, I would have to say Grace.

Kim: Oh I see..Now that your book is already published we'd like to know when your family and friends found out about all this what are their reactions?

Patti: They were very supportive and surprised. But then I am too – I never knew I had it in me either. Some of the reviews have been remarkable. I still have to pinch myself and remind myself that they are talking about a book that I wrote.

Kim: One of my favorite characters is Hope would we see more of her? Is she really a real angel or just plain imaginary as grace thought she would be? coz Abe saw her too and there's this superstition that small kids mainly infant-toddler years saw things an adult couldn't O_O

Patti: Hope, as in life, is never too far away – she is an Angel – a Royal Guardian Angle. And only 3 remain. And that is true; children often tell stories of seeing Angels and such. They say that the older you get the more negative and unbelieving you become to things that can’t be explained. Children don’t need proof or facts. Children are happy to believe, have faith.

Kim: Any major influences in writing?any books or authors comes to mind?
Patti: I really admire Anne Rice. More recently though I have just finished reading book 1 in the Game Of Thrones by George R. R. Martin. I love his worlds and the way he describes them.

Kim:As I've read on your book which addresses a lot of issues I would like to know How did you managed to push through all that? I mean how did you muster the courage in order to kept moving forward especially during those tough times (heartaches) and what's your advice to people who are currently dealing with their dilemmas/issues?

Patti: I found writing those chapters the most rewarding. I like writing about raw emotion. The darker side of life’s situations. And the struggle to free yourself from its grip. But I realized I couldn’t make the book all about doom and gloom. Hence the lighter moments between Grace and Angela. Some readers have told me that parts of the story made them cry. Now that pleased me no end. Knowing that I had been able to reach inside readers like that with just words was a huge accomplishment to me. When I have read books and the words have made me cry, I used to think to myself, now that is a talented writer. I never thought in a million years that I would ever be able to write like that. Some parts of the book made me cry writing it, so I’m glad that if had that effect on readers.

Kim: Advice for writers and others?

Patti:Never say never. Never give up. Never stop reading. Never stop dreaming… Because dreams can come true.

Kim: Indeed! Promote, encourage and do tell our beloved readers and fans where they can buy your book and where they could Reach/contact you ^_^

My Review: 4 stars
I do think and believe that there are angels among us I’m not just talking about halos and wings I mean a mere act of kindness, an inner light of God that shines within each and every single one of us or just like an imaginary friend we quite like forgot having growing up we’ll later on find out probably pursuit remembering afterwards.

This short novel series I felt is going to be a good one, it has a very beautiful glossy book cover with a bit of dark forest ,title with a touch of light plus a feather that immediately grabs your attention which made it more intriguing, stands out and of course a great synopsis. The Angels Are Here, the first one in the series, is a story that kept me hanging and guessing what comes next.It made me patient yet can’t wait to read book two. I appreciated all the flashbacks and side stories but I would like to find out more about little Grace I wanted her to grow up soon enough and as fast as she could..let her destiny unfold plus more war zone scenes at Altair. Its one of those stories I would like to get hold off there’s also a lot of loss, tragedy, things that happened in real life that I’m not even aware of, a little bit of everything, its characters you’ll love and hate which made them so effective and relatable pretty much up to beat to the present time though there are some parts that I felt that are quite not right..something lacking.. some stories not yet told..still on halt I would surely want to find out. I love how Ms. Patti Roberts(the author) made it simple yet complicated twisted background and plot for the first book, the fact that she definitely took her time to introduce all these set of characters, made them grow, blend and connect to each other within the story, on how she kept and made the waiting game more exciting definitely worth waiting for!

Russian Roulette by Mike Faricy

Source: ebook provided by Mike Faricy for review

Category: Fiction ,Mystery,Detective
Format: Ebook
Page Count: 129
Published: March 20, 2011
Language: English
About the book:

When dysfuntional private eye Dev Haskell stumbles into bed with a new client he has no idea he's actually sleeping with the Russian mob. Along the way he's shot, car bombed, beaten and used as a human shield. An engrossing, funny tale of intrigue, rank ineptitude and one night stands. Russian Roulette is a fast paced suspense thriller from Minnesota's master of the bizarre, Mike Faricy (more)

My Review: 1 out of 5 stars

It’s not that I hate it I just don’t like it and won’t recommend it! This whole story irritates me the protagonist Devlin Haskell is not that smart for a detective/private investigator and my least favorite to be honest…he always ended up drunk, screwed, in the hospital or worst almost dead yikes..he only got small connections, little clues most of the time clueless, a small fry, he doesn’t have an office, no paperworks, he doesn’t even ask series of questions that you would typically ask a new client that would lead/shed you some light about the whole work related investigation thing, whenever he did his questions always ended up to in a dead end, heck he can’t even contact his client right. Everything was slow paced though I have to say Devlin is lucky guy to have an ex/friend Heidi and a cop friend Aaron who always looked out for him. Agent Hale (I.C.E) was right and totally hits the bullseye about Devlin on (page 93) there’s still more room for improvement. For instance, Devlin needs more training(physically, mentally, more exposure especially on the field of action etc),he got to stay alert at all cost, a keen eye is very important in every aspect, build up his connections that would aide him in his line of work, learn more than one language, drop the booze especially while at work, strive more with his life, a lot of lifestyle changes would help etc.Though it’s only a short story I really struggled to finish it I always gave it a chance til the very end to redeem itself with a maybe thinking..maybe if I read any further it would turn out to be an ok book but NO! that didn’t happen it kept getting worst! what an epic fail.I'm so sorry Mr. Mike Faricy but this story seriously and badly needs a makeover!

About the Book:
Three years after her husband Max's death, Shelley feels no more adjusted to being a widow than she did that first terrible day. That is, until the doorbell rings. Standing on her front step is a young man who looks so much like Max; same smile, same eyes, same age, same adorable bump in his nose; he could be Max's long-lost relation. He introduces himself as Paolo, an Italian editor of American coffee table books, and shows Shelley some childhood photos. Paolo tells her that the man in the photos, the bearded man who Paolo says is his grandfather though he never seems to age, is Max. Her Max. And he is alive and well. (more)

My Review: 4.5 stars

Typical government conspiracy-top secret plan-manhunt-death-a friend with vast connections-high tech gadgets-saving the world story. What I like about this is that it's easy to read(with only minimal eye strain thanks to its large enough font size),easy to grasp and understand, the book itself is lightweight with a great looking glossy cover. It immediately starts off with a chase...the characters springs into action at the very beginning and won't let you down til the very last page. You'll be instantly hooked with its fast paced story that will get and make you run and read as fast as you possibly can!

Prepare and equip yourself with adrenalin pumping action as you embark on a journey along with Kurt Vetter and Amanda Carter for you'll also come face to face with a right here right now dilemma and decisions .Though I haven't got enough answers to satisfy my curiousity about Amanda's past and if Kurt's love for her would ever bloom? It has a great ending that makes me want to stay tuned for more and find out what comes next. I would like to thank the author himself Mr. William (Bill) Esmont I truly enjoyed reading your novel.I won and received the book for free through Goodreads First Reads Thank you all so much!
