Scandal Season 1 | Tv Series Review

Source: Imbd

A former White House Communications Director starts her own crisis management firm only to realize her clients are not the only ones with secrets.

Creator: Shonda Rhimes
Stars: Kerry Washington, Darby Stanchfield, Katie Lowes |See full cast and crew »
Genre: Drama, Thriller
Runtime: 43 min per episode
Original Cast: Left to Right: Stephen,Quinn,Huck,Liv,Harrison,Abby,Cyrus and Fitz

My thoughts:

All the characters seems so wonderful and kick ass in there own ways. I don't really like Quinn to be honest she's like a lost stray puppy haha I like Huck his lines are so bad ass and so are Liv (Olivia Pope) character so powerful and I totally believe in her that she can fix anything haha!

Stephen's a womanizer trying not to get lost in his path to marriage/normal, Harrison's seems like a cool nice guy, Abby's a bit high strung,energetic most of the time and sarcastic I truly hope she finds somebody to love.Cyrus's manipulative and dunno really which side he is sometimes I never thought he's be gay but I love it! his relationship is a mix of modern and conventional means. As for Fitz well he's charming and confused oh boy!

I finished season 1 in such an easy breezy marathon can't believe there's only seven episodes? good thing it's on netflix now haha! I like it so far I think season 1 crisis is totally just the starting point for it all I mean that Amanda dilemma thing just blew up like crazy and I can still see that kid as the posh mean intelligent girl from the Gilmore girls haha she played her part well and Quinn for some reason I still get irritated by her and I seem to side with Abby most of the time haha you go girls! I'm trying to give Season 2 a go the struggle is real :)) Overall 4 out of 5 stars see it to believe it! I also like how the problems/cases are tackling modern day current afffairs.

Lolita (1997) | Movie Review

Director: Adrian Lyne
Writers: Vladimir Nabokov (novel), Stephen Schiff(screenplay)
Stars: Jeremy Irons, Dominique Swain, Melanie Griffith |See full cast and crew »
Runtime: 137 min
Genres: Drama, Romance
Release date: 25 September 1998 (USA)
Synopsis:

A man marries his landlady so he can take advantage of her daughter.

My thoughts:
Watch out! here comes LOLA! Dolores such child is so out of control!very precocious!

to be honest I have no idea what's it all about at first all I know is that there's a book that I haven't read but people throughout the years have been raving about.This story so screwed up! ABOMINABLE! I tell ya hahaha

I like how this story brings some awareness about familial relations,what's right and wrong and mental issues. I think the term would be as they call it dysfunctional family...The guy didn't actually move on and was scarred early on with his first young love at an early age of 14. As for Dolores well she didn't grew up with a father with only her mom by her side who couldn't control her they're always yelling or arguing but there are some times they're okay and civil with each other. Now in real life if children like these do the same they would get spanked and punished a lot I imagined (especially if you have strict parents or coming from southeast asia) haha!

Spoiler alert!

She got pregnant with some guy and she's smoking!? srsly while pregnant? OMG!she's so messed up!
I don't know if anybody told her the consequences of smoking during  pregrancy that poor child!

Sad ending really -_-

Overall 3 out of 5 stars I think they all need some counseling and psyche consult!

My Thoughts:

I bought it at Publix (grocery store) I think it was on sale when I got it last year with a coupon or so I forgot the price but according to their site it's $13.95 it comes in three shades: Creamy natural,Buff Beige and Natural Beige. I have the first one: creamy natural.

The bottom compartment looks like this, there's the mirror, then the mini free brush and there are holes at the very bottom for ventilation purposes mayhaps? I dunno

Now I get it when people say they hate the free brush that comes along with the kit like this (in any product whatsoever no matter what line or brand) So yeah after a couple of cleanups with lukewarm water and soap it became like this the adhesive/glue that's supposedly holding the bristles got caught/mixed in it's just so sad coz I sorta like the free brush which I find convenient to have/use although it feels a little rough since it's like synthetic on the skin ugh and I don't think there is any process to reverse this so I just got to deal with it or just use one of my face brushes -_-
 First look it looks like it's too much but once it blends in the coverage is light and finish off sheer.
with just one swipe of my finger

it blends really nice especially on my face it definitely corrects the redness although if you have dry-normal skin like mine even though I bought creamy natural I just have to dab it on my face gently and not so much or else it might create/accentuate the dry patch.Definitely need to moisturize a lot. Overall, 3.5 out of 5 stars I like how it corrects the redness of my skin and all that although sometimes I can appear quite ghostly white or pale haha It's light,compact and travel friendly.

My Thoughts:

I got a little bit obsess with lip products lately and just learned different lip products for every season like Coral for the summer stuff like that anyway these collection you can use for the fall season purplish-berry tones but of course it's still up to you if you want to wear it all year long go ahead I'm not stopping you haha!
The exact same order of the swatches below

1= 538A Just Garnet
2= 536A Dark Wine
3= 535D Black Orchid
4= 919B Vamp it up
5= 908C Sugar Plum Fairy
Net Wt. 0.13g/3.6g (each)

The first three's quite moisturizing while the last two got a matte finish.The Packaging is just clear plastic at the top and black at the bottom which is kinda cheap looking but hey what am I expecting it's these lipsticks are like $1 or something sometimes you can even buy them buy 1 get 50% off. The Colors are very pigmented I like to play with these and practice etc.the only color I didn't like is Vamp it up coz it's like and I feel like I just ate/drank squid ink hahaha truly very vampy,goth looking I don't really like the chemically taste like ugh but ya know now I understand why it's affordable and teens-adults have a love/hate relationship about them. But will I ever purchase this again? No...I'd rather buy the Revlon lipsticks or other brands than this I'm so sorry it's just that I feel like it's such a waste so sad I know T_T as much as I like the colors especially Dark Wine and Black Orchid I'm just not reaching for this stuff anymore...I don't recommend this product to anyone which makes me wonder why are these still on store/in shelf -_-

Overall
Packaging 2 out of 5 stars
Colors/Color range: 5 out of 5 stars
Affordability: 5 out of 5 stars
Formula: 1 out of 5 stars
