Quick Synopsis: (Source: Goodreads)
On a warm summer morning in North Carthage, Missouri, it is Nick and Amy Dunne's fifth wedding anniversary. Presents are being wrapped and reservations are being made when Nick's clever and beautiful wife disappears from their rented McMansion on the Mississippi River. Husband-of-the-Year Nick isn't doing himself any favors with cringe-worthy daydreams about the slope and shape of his wife's head, but passages from Amy's diary reveal the alpha-girl perfectionist could have put anyone dangerously on edge. Under mounting pressure from the police and the media--as well as Amy's fiercely doting parents--the town golden boy parades an endless series of lies, deceits, and inappropriate behavior. Nick is oddly evasive, and he's definitely bitter--but is he really a killer? (more)

My thoughts:

3.5  out of 5 stars!

At long last! I finally got around into it OMG this story! I find Amy disturbing actually she's an intelligent psycho bitch! I kinda feel sorry for Nick but his actions are well not good either. Their marriage became toxic and it got into them and they let it get into themselves.I guess this stuff truly happens when you stop trying, lack of communication, death of a loved one, someone sick in the family, stress etc. it adds up! your body, mind and spirit will take the toll. What I liked about this story is how it proves it's not always the husband who is the culprit. I hope the next 2 books would deliver some sense of justice. They all need a psyche consult asap!
