is peaceful
I feel like I have my own place
on my own again.

I feel like I can do whatever I want
whenever I want

everything's brand new
and very challenging

even though some of my plans never work out
as I thought it would be

Ghost

Saw you just now

thought you were dead

we haven't seen each other for a very long time

I turned and walked as fast as I can 

for running would simply give me away

nevertheless you caught up with me

and said "hey"

I smiled then simply nodded as I kept my distance

catching up with you would simply be..

the end of me.

The following day you dropped by my house

no one's home 

or so you thought

I hid and kept my shadow close.

Way back  in the day

I used to wonder why?

why you left and didn't even bother to say goodbye.

Now that I know better

I understand and would have to accept

the painful truth

the ugly truth

That we're never meant to be

as I read your letter and wedding invitation

no tears escape, as you are slowly dying in my eyes 

the man I once knew and loved is gone

the word us cease to exists

it's just another day

here I am living the life in total bliss!

Finding my Focus

It's hard to focus
I tried
I failed
tried a couple more
failed each attempt

get up
stand up
do it all over again

feels like a never ending almost repeat kind of day
then I'll always remind myself of my goal
my dreams,hopes,aspiration
Why I need to stay in this game
work hard a little bit more

refresh
new strategy
what is it I'm not getting?

People say I sometimes overthink things
I guess I do take them literally
words and thoughts are powerful
takes me to places I've never been nor seen before
my journey's long chances I can't really say

but I'll keep moving forward either way
time change things so as opportunity
let's see where it would all take me.

Serendipity

Another mark off the list
I'm really glad you got me into this
We burst into a cocktail full of emotions.
then paused and contemplated for awhile
now strike a pose
let's be merry,cheers!
we made it!at long last!

The world seems different
especially from up here
speck of human dots
walking across the street like ants
tiny box houses and skyscrapers like matchsticks
faint blinking lights from the  towers antenna

the view's amazing! worth the hike
birds fluttering and chirping around
the sky full of clouds
the sun glimpse
as if saying hello
it's like another world up here
that I don't want to let go.

Beauty Within

An essay I wrote 8 years ago (english class) my professor asked us to write any topic we like that time I'm not really sure what or where to begin all I could remember was jotting a couple of ideas on a piece of paper and propose some ideas to her some are approved but most of them are rejected and this was the subject I stick to and talked about the following week in a very limited amount of time.I'm glad I found it and would like to share it to you.I'd also like to thank Lady_Kree and everyone for their love and support.Ok here goes:



How do you know you are in the presence of beauty? Is it something you see? Is it something you hear? Is it something you feel? Is it something you feel within yourself when you experience it? Is it something within you that you choose to become aware of only in specific circumstances?

Everyone possesses inner beauty. What is not on the outside is always on the inside. Our bodies and minds are magical creation. By knowing ourselves our inner beauty can grow and flourish. If everyone would just look for a person's inner beauty there would be so much love and peace in the world.

Take a look around you and see what you are missing. Our lives, no matter how short on this earth deserves to be shared in the beauty around us.

“I am what I am…”

There is an inner beauty…an inner light that God put within each and every one of us. We just need to find it once again. If we don’t find that little piece of God’s inner light, we will only be disappointed in life.

Tips for True Beauty (developing inner beauty): 1.For attractive lips, speak words of kindness. 2. For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people. 3. For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry. 4. For beautiful hair, let a child run his or her fingers through it once a day. 5. For poise, walk with knowledge and you’ll never walk alone. 6. be confident in everything that you so that when you face a certain situation that can either be intimidating or what, you can step up to the challenge. Reservoirs of self-doubt can be emptied and replaced with confidence and excitement. 7. Be positive 8. Always smile
9. Be young and energetic 10. Get satisfaction/ be satisfied in small petty things you do 11. Always feel you have done something worthwhile 12. Be happy and have fun.

Always keep in mind that people, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed; never throw out anybody. For nobody knows what the future holds. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, it is a gift from the Lord, it is skin deep and spirit deep, Eyes are indeed windows to the soul; Don't judge a book (or person) by its cover. Beauty is the radiance of truth; the fragrance of goodness and that Beauty without virtue is like a flower without scent.

Take time to notice those around you. Make a new friend...maybe even the one you're not attracted to at first. Is it possible that you could find an unexpected beauty hidden within that weird looking guy/girl sitting next to you?

If we don’t try to find our inner beauty when we are young, we might end up being old one day with no substance. The person who is always striking and beautiful is not always good, but that person who is good is always beautiful from within.

I've fallen too deep

Our encounter was brief,noteworthy
your impeccable character astonished me

There are times I'd like to give you a shot as it crossed my mind.
Try to reconsider things despite our differences
But you won't even compromise let alone persevere!
Step out of your comfort zone!

Unexpected

Inevitable Hero's Journey

I met a couple of lovely people along the way...
A few note worthy while some are just completely despicable!
Devil in disguise!made quite a tempting offer
classic act of deception
I almost got consumed!
Good thing I said I'd pass and carry on with my mission.

Yes,I checked..my soul's still intact
As I move on,back on track,off the detour
I contemplated on weird turn of events
In which case I'm really glad & grateful that I met the likes of them..loads of lessons learned!No regrets!

When curiosity killed the cat
I thought of you my beloved
That always seems to work
It pulled me straight back.

Dodged death multiple times
I hope & pray I won't ran out of life lines (they sure are valuable!)
Anyway,I know I need to make up for lost time..
Wait for me.I'll be back soon..as promised.

All is well..fully awake and fortunately still alive!

Sikyo Base

There was once a tree
in front of my house
green and leafy
never weary

a tree,a tree
an avocado tree
I saw and ate some of its fruits
which is rather tasty and good!

As kids we play
all around it
we climbed,made camp
new branch, new saved spot

lots of things come to pass
like trends,houses built
change of weather conditions:monsoon to typhoon
sometimes even flood

I like it when it's time to change leaves and new buds spring to life.
But now such tree is long gone.
All I do is tell various tales of it
here and there.

it's carved,tattooed names all over just like the cactus I once saw more over.
Beautiful,gloriously wonderful and bountiful.
As I shared with you such stories may it continue to live on and reside in our hearts and even commit into memory mayhaps.



Note of inspiration: I like to climb trees growing up and play Sikyo base(I don't know how it's supposed to be spelled so I just spelled it like how I pronounced it haha) it's a very popular street game among children and even adults in the Philippines.There would be two opposing teams base camp on the opposite direction,two team captains that would choose its member from the line up one after another,That decision who comes to pick first maybe decided on a flip coin of heads or tails or which ever they prefer.It doesn't matter how many players the more the merrier haha! it's like a massive game of tag,you run like crazy,capture your enemy put it in your base camp as they form a bee line to be saved by their team mates.The fastest and first one to evade and touch the opposing team's savepoint camp/team's bee lined hands  wins!

Filter

I got a vague image of you
don't want it to hinder
my point of view

I admit,there are times wherein
I thought I know what or who you are
as I saw some of myself in you

the turn of events caught me by surprise.
I never thought I'd like you
but I did, only as a friend

although I got this eerie feeling
that you want something more
which is rather awkward that I choose to ignore.

but that doesn't make it go away
I fought bravely and fearlessly head on
set and point out some ground rules.

One day,you introduced me to your friends
let me in the circle,the party,
what at stake got higher and bigger!
a complete game changer.

people talk...interesting,foolish things
lots of jokes and  stories shared here and there
overflowing drinks, sang off tuned songs
immense and deafening noise
so much confusion!

after the event I thought and said:
I'm sorry,but I do believe you got the wrong person
as I'm not the one you are looking for
this has gotten far,way off and too long

I managed to broke free from the cycle
as I chose to go the most sensible path
in retrospect you all must have thought what kind of person I am.

I shouldn't have lingered around..didn't mean to overstay.
And so I said the very last day
thanks for the memories,we all hugged,bid adios,sayonara,paalam
all of which is meant to say...Goodbye!
