About the book:
So begins Susan Orlean’s sweeping, powerfully moving story of Rin Tin Tin’s journey from orphaned puppy to movie star and international icon. From the moment in 1918 when Corporal Lee Duncan discovers Rin Tin Tin on a World War I battlefield, he recognizes something in the pup that he needs to share with the world. Rin Tin Tin’s improbable introduction to Hollywood leads to the dog’s first blockbuster film and over time, the many radio programs, movies, and television shows that follow. The canine hero’s legacy is cemented by Duncan and a small group of others who devote their lives to keeping him and his descendants alive.(more)

My Review:  5 stars

The book will be out next month and according to the Goodreads page looks like it would be on Hardcover mine was an ARC so it's on paperback. The formats I post here at my page are the ones I got anyway my thoughts about the book wow! I dunno where to begin first off I love Animals they are my best buds so this book is a complete match from heaven  XD

I want and would like to have a dog just like Rin Tin Tin!he's very smart, loyal, obedient and a superstar! just to name a few...I love this book not only does it talks about the history and life of the legendary Rin Tin Tin it also talks about his Owner Lee Duncan how he started, where he was born, his struggles in life, the lime light and how he managed such stressful yet happy lifestyle.Their story lives on and forever part of history.I highly recommend it!
