I've been working on this

longer than expected

why do I keep coming back

for something can't say it

I kept on wasting my time

for things that didn't matter

is it just my way to past time?

or is it the latter?

There's a choice I gotta make

a tough one I must say

it could either make or break

perhaps go astray?

The journey's long

and quite tough

but I just can't wave the white flag

and say I give up!

Disease took its toll

inside my body

might be because I've been

rather busy

by the end of the day

it's always been just me

a fight to oneself

how grueling and staggering.
